Unless someone used a heavy duty rolling technique, I don't think the fenders would be 'tubbed' or have an excessive amount of flaring due to the fender rolling technique most people use. If you do it, I would recommend wrapping the wooden bat with duct tape (I didn't) to help protect the paint. If you had some touch-up paint then I think you would be OK.
