WebJul 13, 2024 · With a GPU the chance of the thermal paste spreading onto the PCB is quite large (in fact that's normal). Conductive thermal paste would cause a short-circuit that could kill the GPU. Examples of non-conductive paste found through a quick look at Amazon : Arctic MX-2, Deepcool Z9. The MX-4 seems safe to use too.
