The porosity is only a factor of how fast the “inflatant” leaks. Air can/will leak from both butyl or latex tubes eventually, sometime overnight, even new tubes. WebHi guys. I have just begun road cycling and was practicing with a more experienced friend to try to change a flat tyre using a CO2 canister (they are a mountain biker so had a 25g). Got through all of the steps and tried to fill the canister with the inflator. Measured the pressure after removing it and it was at 70psi which I thought was low.
